How we got here...

 Hola Amigos, my name is Brenda Maina, you can call me Bren, Bree, B.. you can actually call me 'mine' if you're single and need to take someone home for Christmas with you. Maybe this is it. For you and I. Cheers to making it to Dec. This year has been the absolute ghetto for me. There's this saying that goes 'when you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up' I first came across it years ago in the animation 'sing 1' and I have used it as a consolation since. But guys, this year I learnt that rock bottom has a basement. I've been to the pits. But I'm here. 

I had so many goals for this year but looking back, well I think we try again next year.

Kuishi kwingi ni kuona mengi. This is actually a true saying. Tried and tested unlike the other one. I've been around for two decades and some change and I'm here to share some of the experiences that I may or not have  directly experienced with you. Nothing different from the stories I share or used to share on WhatsApp before imposter syndrome took the better part of me.

Kizungu kwetu ilikuja na meli, so I really doubt you'll learn a new vocab over here to go flex, but maybe with time..

Niko na roho Ndogo guys, so be brutally honest but be kind, otherwise I'll cry and nitakusema kwa mamangu.

I'm excited for this, mainly because it might be actually the only thing that we'll remember 2022 by.
